Covid Protocols
Whilst many of the Covid regulations have been suspended, we will keep the hand sanitiser in place and if you are more comfortable wearing a mask to enter the laundry please do so.
To enter the laundry reception please use the hand sanitiser (there is a stand outside the door)
Wear your mask if you would like to do so, this is not compulsory.
Wait your turn as there is only room for one ‘customer’ (max two people as the same customer) in the reception area
Make sure everything you bring is bagged, the staff cannot handle loose items which means laundry needs to be pre-sorted and bagged separately if separate washes are required. This is a normal request and not limited to the outbreak of Covid.
Customers who require help to get laundry from/to their vehicle can call the laundry and someone will come out to your vehicle to help you, regardless of Covid this is a service we offer to help our customers with limited mobility.
Covid Cleaning
Public access areas are cleaned regularly and the counter sanitised between customers.
All linen is washed at higher temperatures for the duration of the Covid crisis; once the regulations are no longer mandatory, Domestic customers may request lower temperature washes.
Staff only handle laundry after it is washed.
We will keep these extra cleaning arrangements in place for the foreseeable future, even once all the Covid regulations have been suspended.
